Yesterday, I listened to the little voices. The little voices in everyone's head that tell them to do things. Crazy things, correct things, wrong things, they suggest them all, for to the creative aspect of your mind, they are all the same.
Yesterday, I listened. I cut my hair. Yes, I cut my own hair. I grabbed some clippers and cut it, starting on the sides, and missing the top. That was it! I had a fauxhawk. It was fun, and I am satisfied with the results.
Most people try and squelch the "unreasonable" voices in themselves. I have to ask, though, what hero have you heard of that chose the reasonable course? Heroes choose the ridiculous option of sacrificing themselves for another. While I do not mean to liken cutting one's hair to saving children from a burning building, I am proposing that those who save think on a different plane than most other folks.
I hope that I am one of the strange, one of those that can seperate themselves by taking the odd option. I hope I can be remembered as a hero.
